Juneteenth Worldwide /Albinism Awareness Concert June 15, 2010 at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center-Terrace Theater featured Salif Keita, “The Golden Voice of Africa”. Salif Keita of Mali, Africa made his first major U.S. breakthrough with “Tomorrow” and “Papa,” songs prominently featured on the original sound track for the 2001 motion picture, “Ali,” starring Will Smith. Salif Keita is the best known albino in the world. MusicUNTOLD organized pre-concert educational programs about albinism, sponsored a photographic exhibit of different facial types and introduced local individuals with albinism on stage during the concert.
