Synopsis: “You’re Nobody ‘til somebody kills you” is an action packed and gritty story of two New York City homicide detectives that are forced into the high-stakes world of the hip hop industry. Executive produced by Spike Lee, the film has been described as a Hip Hop crime/horror written and directed by Michael A. Pinckney.
“My purpose in making this film was to comment on the fascination rappers have with death and violence and to bring to light the tendency they have to become more famous after they’ve died,” says Pinckney.
