Long Beach Central Area Association/MusicUNTOLD presented a birthday party to celebrate the 100th birthday of Mr. Leon Martin. Congressman Lowenthal, Supervisor Knabe, Mayor Foster and Councilman Andrews provided certificates of recognition. Pianist Myrna Castillo, singer Felipe Ruiz, and singer/guitarist Steve Guillory contributed song performances and Mr. Leon Martin sang a spiritual. Mr. Martin is a retired tour bus driver who left with wife for Las Vegas driving his personal vehicle on July 8, 2013.
