Baritone Donnie Ray Albert Upon graduating with Master of Music Degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, Mr. Albert began his operatic and concert career in the summer of 1975 with Houston Grand Opera as Parson Alltalk in TREEMONISHA. Mr. Albert would subsequently go on to perform in ten HGO productions including the award winning tours of PORGY AND BESS and SHOWBOAT. |

Soprano Latonia Moore Latonia Moore made an 11thhour surprise debut at The Metropolitan Opera March 3, 2012 as Aida. Her performance was broadcast live on radio and thunderously received by the public and the media. The New York Times wrote: “she received an ecstatic ovation…her voice was radiant, plush and sizable at its best, with gleaming top notes that broke through the chorus and orchestra during the crowd scenes…Moore has enormous potential” |

Violinist Sanford Allen Sanford Allen was appointed Director of the Clarion Concerts in Columbia County’s Leaf Peeper Series after the death of its founder Newell Jenkins. Mr. Allen started his study of the violin at the age of seven and entered the Juilliard School of Music at age ten, continuing at the Mannes College of Music under Mme. Vera Fonaroff. In 1962 he became the first black musician ever to become a regular member of the New York Philharmonic. |

Violist Nokuthula Ngwenyama Recently featured as a “Face to Watch” in the Los Angeles Times. Nokuthula Ngwenyama’s performances as orchestral soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician garner great attention. Pianist Althea Waites Althea Waites has been acclaimed throughout the United States, Europe and Asia as a brilliant soloist, chamber musician and collaborative artist. In addition to performing on many of the world’s prestigious concert stages, she has also appeared in recital at major festivals such as Aspen, Tanglewood, the Yale Summer Festival and the Idyllwild Arts Festival. Praised by the Los Angeles Times for “profound musicality and superb technique”, Ms. Waites has a distinguished history of performing new music by American composers and has received several honors and commendations for her work. Composer-Pianist Richard Thompson Richard Thompson is a performer and composer whose work resists a single stylistic category. His compositions combine European and African-American styles, so that the formal structures of European classical music develop ideas, which are essentially jazz in nature. Originally from Aberdeen, Scotland, Mr. Thompson made his debut at the Purcell Room, in the Royal Festival Hall in London. He has appeared in live broadcasts for B.B.C. Jazz and Classical Radio, Italian National Television and Radio and also given concerts at La Piccola Scala in Milan, among many others. Visit website |

Soprano Jammieca Mott
Jammieca Denise Mott, soprano, is a graduate of Jackson State University, Southern Methodist University and received her D.M.A. from The University of North Texas. She has performed the roles of the Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte, Adele in Die Fledermaus, Rosina in Ghosts of Versailles, Alceste in Alceste and Sandman in Hansel and Gretel.

Pianist Polli Chambers-Salazar Pianist Polli Chambers-Salazar has performed across the United States and Canada. Ms. Chambers-Salazar specializes in presenting classical recitals that inform and involve the audience, and originated the Classics Become Eclectic series. She has appeared on KCBS Television and KUSC Radio, and recently completed “First Flight,” a compact disc recording of solo piano music by Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Boulanger and Coleridge-Taylor. Violinist Annelle Gregory Annelle Gregory is a gold medalist of the 2012 National NAACP ACT-SO competition, a laureate of the 2011 National Sphinx String Competition and has received scholarship awards from the League of Allied Arts and the Musical Merit Foundation.
