The mission of MusicUNTOLD is multi-leveled but focuses on heightening awareness of the presence and historical achievements by artists of African descent in classical and opera music since the beginning of the genres by Afro-Europeans. Although numerous internet websites provide documented proof of this neglected history, awareness remains deplorably low, even within the African American population. Through a collaborative arrangement with Randye Jones and William J. Zick to help debunk false perceptions, share information, and the pure enjoyment of listening to music underrepresented on classical radio, MusicUNTOLD.com website now includes direct access to four (4) additional educational resources.
